strange behavior
i stopped at a crossing
dressed in rags and two old socks
a herd of cattle were chewing grass
drinking water
i sat down
by their sides
and i drank
in turn
from the river
and i
laughed
/
maybe, this was strange behavior
i am sure
that the ones
who passed me by
thought the same
but i didn’t care
i didn’t care
i was free
born
/
again
